They Have Thick Skin

anyone who tells you being a Realtor is easy doesn't know what they are talking about.  It is a tough business and very competitive.  If you cannot take rejection, it is not for you. 

There will be times when you get the wind knocked out of your sails.  The harder you are out there working to develop your business, the more opportunities will present themselves for this to happen.  It is inevitable.  When it happens (and it will), learn from the experience and move on.  Moping about it or doubting your abilities is counterproductive and will not get you anywhere. 

You can do everything right on a deal.  You can work your tail off,  go the extra mile, and then some.  And that still may not be enough.  More often than not your hard work will be appreciated by your client, but sometimes it won't.  You will be looked at as the reason the deal fell apart.  If that happens, don't let it sour you.  What is important is you know you did everything humanly possible to make it happen.
