This was the original main street in Allen and is called by the same name. When McDermott was widened, 90 percent of the traffic went there. McDermott is about two blocks over to the left. The Allen Skate and Bike park is a testament to Allen's big visions. Click here to see more pictures of it.
The Natatorium is for public use. It has a huge, indoor water park, lazy river, lap lanes, workout center overlooking the pool, and locker rooms.
Presbyterian Hospital of Allen continues the Presbyterian tradition of quality health care. We had always used the "Presby" in Dallas until this new hospital came in. This is where we go now.
Allen Drive was recently widened, but notice how the city landscaped the street and added brick pavers to break the monotony of a wide ribbon of concrete.
