No Charge Directory Assistance

 

Not many things in life are truly free, but this one is!  Phone companies are now charging us from $1.49 to $2.49 for directory assistance calls.  You don't have to pay this! 

Instead of dialing 411, try 1-800-FREE-411 (1-800-373-3411).  This works on land lines and cell phones (although you will still be billed the normal air time by your cell phone service provider!) The only downside is you will have to listen to a very short infomercial (about 10 seconds long).  For $1.50, I will take the time to listen!
