The Indoor Practice Facility
Coach Jim Bob Puckett (possibly the best name ever for a football coach) was nice enough to take a couple of minutes for this shot holding the trophy from the Leopard's playoff game last week. This picture was taken the same day Lovejoy was to play Prosper High School in a night game. Prosper is the defending Texas's state 3A champs, so not many people gave us a chance to win the game. But Lovejoy upset Prosper 24-14 to move on to the state semifinals!
Our entire community is so excited about the job coach Puckett and his players are doing. Remember, this is only our second year of high school football ... ever. It really is amazing what they have accomplished in such a short amount of time.
There will be many more trophies like this one as Coach Puckett builds his brand new program from the ground up. A lot of us believe this is the beginning of a new dynasty in Texas football.
