be surprised by the looks of the SWC of Estates Pkwy and Country Club.

The picture below is a representation of
what this corner used to look like. A big, ugly water
tank right at the intersection of two main streets in Lucas.
Not real impressive.
The picture
below is what that corner looks like now. I saw the
tank being removed on Monday, the coldest day of the year.
You can see the welder throwing up sparks on the picture to
the right.
Unfortunately, I believe that corner is owned by the city of
Allen, even though it's completely surrounded by Lucas city
limits. The building in the background is used by the
Allen Police Department to train their police dogs. I'll
try to find out what's taking the place of the storage tank.
