There are still remnants of a simpler time and place in Fairview and Lucas.  All of these scenes will some day disappear as development continues to move through, which is sad, but nothing stands in the way of progress I guess.  I will be adding pictures periodically.

Taken July, 2007 - Soon this entire stretch of road along Stacy Road will be solid retail.  I took these just as the dirtwork was starting to remind me of what this drive used to look like.  The first shot is looking east on Stacy Road.

Taken July, 2007 - This is looking towards Central Expressway towards the west with Stacy Rd to the left.

Taken December 6th, 2007 - This sharp bend of the road ran under a former railroad trestle crossing Greenville Ave.  You can still see the railroad tracks on top of the white gravel.  It is another landmark that will no doubt soon disappear.  I don't know how many accidents have happened here, but I do know large trucks frequently were caught under the bridge before it was finally removed.
