Everyone loves the McKinney old town square. The historic and repurposed buildings date back to 1876. The city of McKinney does a great job with special events like this throughout the year. The shops and restaurants are an eclectic mix which really makes it a fun place to walk around, have lunch or dinner, shop, or just sit on the sidewalk people watch and enjoy a wine, or two. It’s one of our favorite places and just a few minutes north of Fairview and Lucas. Take the back way, Orr Rd (317) for a winding drive through the trees on an old farm to market road.
