Last week, we were celebrating the first two lots to go under option in Barratt Lake Estates in Lucas. Here’s a picture of the developer, Steve Dinapoli, with Erin Hickman, our Sr VP who is working with Sean Elliott and me on selling the lots.
Today, on July 4th, we signed contracts on two more lots. We have four out of the thirteen lots under option and the developer has not even broken ground with the streets yet. That’s impressive and there are reasons why it happened.
First, it’s a beautiful tract of land which backs up to the 29 mile long Trinity Equestrian and Hiking Trail and hundreds of acres surrounding Lake Lavon. Nights are dark and quiet and there’s plenty of wildlife because all the land around Lake Lavon is owned by the Army Corps of Engineers so it won’t be developed. We live right around the corner from the development and I can tell you first hand, it only takes about 7-8 minutes to get to 3 million sf of retail, restaurants, and entertainment at Fairview Town Center and The Village at Allen.
The development is also located within the Lovejoy school district boundaries and as most people know, Lovejoy is one of the highest rated school districts in the entire state. It’s also a gated community and will have a great looking entrance.And finally, Steve Dinapoli, the premier developer in Fairview, is developing this beautiful tract of rolling land. He developed Oak Meadows, Three Oaks, and Harbour Oaks. Below you’ll see some of the fabulous homes in those developments.
This is really going to be a very special development and we can’t wait to see it finished out.
