Lovejoy ISD is like every other Texas public school district in one way … we’ve been tremendously affected financially by the Covid crisis. There’s been a lot of chatter about how the district is rising to meet these challenges and making the difficult decisions so I asked Chad Collins, the Lovejoy ISD school board president and Dr. Dennis Womack, the Interim Lovejoy Superintendent to participate in a sit-down interview with our own Carrie McClure. Carrie is a Lovejoy mom and has been paying close attention to the situation. She reached out to other Lovejoy parents for questions they’d like to ask.
