Meet Jennifer Hurst

Jennifer came to us from a chance meeting I had with her husband. He happened to mention his wife was getting her real estate license. I asked him who she was going to work for and he said he wasn't sure.

I called Jennifer just to tell her what a great company Keller Williams is especially for agents starting out (and it is). I had no intention of asking her to join our team, but sometimes you just have to follow your instincts.

First of all, I liked her, and likability is such a big factor in sales. But I like a lot of people so it wasn't just that. She had a full time and I told her we really weren't looking for part time agents. This business, if done properly, is just too demanding as a part time job. However, she convinced me she was ready to change careers and I could tell she wasn't letting grass grow under her feet. She was working towards getting her real estate license which isn't easy with three kids, a husband, and a full time job.

Erin Hickman and I both decided we would roll the dice with her and see what she could do. Right away she impressed us with her work ethic, team spirit (which is a big part of our culture) and willingness to listen and learn. Here we are, less than a year later and she currently has $4 million closed and title just for the month of January.

Jennifer has some big goals and there's no doubt in our minds she's going to get there. She's fun to be around, always ready to laugh, and everyone loves her. We're proud to have her on our team.
