Earlier this year, the developer of Barratt Lake Estates in Lucas had planned on being able to deliver lots by next month, however we ran into some frustrating delays with the town of Lucas on approvals. We have finally resolved all the issues with the town, so dirt will start flying soon.
The delay gave us more time to pre-sell the lots and now 10 of the 12 lots are under option. Some of the finest custom home builders in the area have committed to building in BLE including Ron McHam Custom Homes and Joseph Paul Homes.
Erin Hickman, Sean Elliott, and I are all working on this project and believe it will be the premier development in both Fairview and Lucas. It will be a gated community with two separate water features at the front gate. The land is rolling and sloped towards a large pond in the center of the property which will be the focal point of most of the homes.
BLE is surrounded by the Army Corps of Engineers land around Lake Lavon so there’s lots of wildlife right outside the gate. The Trinity Equestrian and Hiking Trail runs right by the development and extends about 25 miles around Lake Lavon.
